Puantê

Collection film

Puantê is a dancewear brand. Our work was the collection film: the video presenting the new pieces, designed to be watched vertically, on phones and on the brand's social media.

The pieces are made for movement, so the film had to show the body in motion, not just the clothes.

We built the studio in layers of fabric, in shades of orange, wine and earth, so that the colour of the clothing and the colour of the space would answer each other. The dancers moved freely within that set and the camera followed them.

Shadow, backlight and handheld camera

The images on this page are frames from the film. We worked with the dancers' shadows on the wall, light facing the camera and a handheld camera close to the body, following the gesture instead of watching it from afar.
